By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, I understand that:

As an associate student member, my membership is free while I am studying. When I begin to teach, I will need to transition to full membership and make payment based on rules in the QTU Constitution and Rules.
My membership is ongoing, and that the membership year is from January to December.
If at some time in the future I wish to cancel my membership, my cancellation must be in writing to the General Secretary by email (preferred) or a letter posted to the QTU Brisbane office.
I can access the full QTU Constitution and Rules on the QTU website www.qtu.asn.au.

I accept the terms and conditions of QTU Membership.

Queensland Teachers' Journal
You will receive a copy of the Teachers' Journal which is published eight times each year.

AEU(Q) Membership
While education has historically been a state prerogative, issues that impact on state schools and TAFE campuses are increasingly being decided on a national level. That's why, unless they advise otherwise, all members of the QTU automatically become members of the Australian Education Union, the union representing the interests of state school and TAFE educators on the federal stage.
AEU(Q) membership is automatically included at no extra cost unless you indicate otherwise below.
Note: To ensure coverage by the QTU, CQU VET educators must retain membership of the AEU(Q).

I decline AEU(Q) membership.
